Vue d’installation / installation view Textiles instalativos: del medio al lugar, 2021, CAAC Sevilla, Spain

Le CAAC accueille jusqu’en mai 2022 une exposition qui réunit 11 œuvres de grand format réalisées par six créateurs de générations et d’horizons différents. Elle illustre comment l’art a libéré les textiles de la sphère domestique et de la simple fonctionnalité à laquelle ils semblaient condamnés pour en faire un langage de protestation permettant de dépeindre le monde.

Ulla Von Brandenburg nous invite à “sortir de nos habitudes pour voir clairement, à adopter des points de vue différents pour voir le monde d’une manière nouvelle”.

The CAAC is hosting an exhibition of 11 large-scale works by six artists from different generations and backgrounds until May 2022. It illustrates how art has liberated textiles from the domestic sphere and the simple functionality to which they seemed condemned, and turned them into a language of protest to depict the world.

Ulla Von Brandenburg invites us to “get out of our habits to see clearly, to adopt different points of view to see the world in a new way”.

Hors les murs | Roman Signer participates in the show ‘Calder Now’ at Kunsthal Rotterdam (Netherlands). This exhibition explores for the first time in Europe the modern master’s enduring and unmistakable influence on contemporary art. ‘Calder Now’ presents twenty sculptures by Alexander Calder, alongside works by ten prominent contemporary artists.

Roman Signer participe à l’exposition ‘Calder Now’ à la Kunsthal Rotterdam (Pays-Bas). Cette exposition explore pour la première fois en Europe l’influence durable et indéniable du maître moderne sur l’art contemporain. ‘Calder Now’ présente vingt sculptures d’Alexandre Calder et de dix artistes internationaux renommés.

Kunstmuseum Ravensburg opens on November 19 Caroline Achaintre’s first solo exhibition in a German museum.

This exhibition “provides an overview of the memorable work of the Franco-German artist. Achaintre transposes traditional techniques such as tapestry, ceramics and watercolour into the present, exploring the boundaries between abstraction and representation.” (Extrait du communiqué de presse)

Le Kunstmuseum Ravensburg inaugure le 19 novembre la première exposition personnelle de Caroline Achaintre dans un musée allemand.

Cette exposition “donne un aperçu de l’œuvre mémorable de l’artiste franco-allemande.
