For the Museum Folkwang, she has created a temporary installation that is closely intertwined with the museum\u2019s architecture whilst simultaneously introducing an element of resistance. Glass and concrete, the fundamental building materials of modernism, become fragile, malleable materials in Newby\u2019s hands, upon which she literally leaves her mark. Fingerprints and notches can be found on the building\u2019s glass panes and on semi-cylindrical lines that winds its way through the courtyard, connecting the museum\u2019s old building with the new one.
