As in an empty museum, where only traces of the paintings on the walls remain, Ulla von Brandenburg’s Color Notation (Red) resemantises a room in Palazzo Bentivoglio, imagining a time that may have been.
The artist talks about the genesis of the work, originally conceived for the spaces of the Palais de Tokyo, the nomadic aspects of her works and the relationship with the spaces in which they are installed.
