Art : Concept, New Space, Passage Sainte-Avoye, September 2015
Olivier Antoine and his team are very pleased to announce the opening of the new space of Art : Concept gallery in 4, passage Sainte-Avoye (Paris). This private street opens on one side to the 8 rue Rambuteau and on the other on the rue du Temple. Established in Le Marais since 2010, the gallery affirms its position in this essential area for contemporary art, bringing together international galleries and major museal institutions.
This decision is driven by the ambition to give a new dimension to the programme of the gallery and offer greater opportunities to artists it represents. Designed by Belgian architect Olivier Dwek, l’espace du 4 has been completely rebuilt and refurbished. The result is a volume of very pure style that favors simple lines and a free plan offering both a fluid perspective and extensive exhibition area. The total aera now stretches over 360 m2.
The gallery will inaugurate this new site in September 2015 with a solo exhibition of the historic French artist Jean-Michel Sanejouand very appropriately entitled “Un peu d’espace(s)” (“Some Space(s)”)!
