When objects placed on pedestals speak of art in general and of a certain exhibition in particular, the work of the artist Alexandre Singh entitled “Critique of the School of Objects” can be appreciated like a play. The very role of the work of art is then reversed and takes on its own criticism. Alexandre Singh’s installation was presented at the Palais de Tokyo in 2011 and at the New Museum in 2010.

Quand des objets posés sur des socles parlent d’art en général et d’une certaine exposition en particulier, l’oeuvre de l’artiste Alexandre Singh intitulée “la critique de l’école des objets” s’apprécie comme une pièce de théâtre. Le rôle même de l’oeuvre d’art s’en retrouve alors inversé et se charge de sa propre critique. L’installation d’Alexandre Singh a été notamment présentée au Palais de Tokyo en 2011 et au New Museum en 2010.
